Why use a virtual assistant?
Using a Virtual Assistant has many benefits, and is easier than you think. It’s about trusting someone to help manage your life and business to free up more time and increase your effectiveness. A VA will be fully trained, uses the latest technology, provides their own office space and equipment, is confidential, trustworthy, flexible and reliable. Above all, a VA can save you money, up to 40% on salary costs compared to a full time office based member of staff.
How does it work and how do we get the work to you?
Send us the work you need completing in the most convenient way for your business, i.e. email, fax, post, etc, and we will quote you for a tailor made package created to meet your business needs. The quotation and a non-disclosure agreement is signed to confirm the details of the work to be undertaken. The work is then completed to meet your set criteria and timescale and returned to you via your preferred route. Where the opportunity exists, we prefer to send the work to you for approval prior to final presentation. We recommend that any hard copy is sent by a trackable method of delivery. How can you see my calendar to manage it remotely?
We primarily use Google Mail for calendar managing. This is very flexible when working with Mac/PC/Smartphone/Mobile for people on the move. Of course, we’re happy to listen to your suggestions and adjust to the way in which you prefer to work.
Can we meet to discuss my requirements?
Yes. The majority of work undertaken by PS Virtual’s assistants are completed without ever needing to meet the client face-to-face, but we are happy to meet at a mutual venue in London or within the UK as and when requested.
We need the work completed urgently, can you meet the deadline?
Yes. We pride ourselves on completing and delivering on time, and will never knowingly undertake work which cannot be completed within the required timescales.
Would you undertake work that requires you to work in the evening or at weekends to meet our deadline?
Yes, we are happy to do this but the rate charged may increase for work being completed outside of standard office hours. Price will be confirmed with you beforehand.
Do you offer a collection and/or delivery service?
Yes, collection and delivery are offered within a 5 mile radius of the office location in Lee, South London, charged at the normal hourly rate. Beyond that distance, charges will be relative to the distance and time involved. Alternatively, we can arrange for postage or a courier service to collect from or deliver to your business location at cost.
Do we need to provide you with any office space, equipment, stationery?
No. All our virtual assistants have their own office space which is fully equipped with modern technology. Unless you wish us to print letters with your headed paper or send out promotional campaigns with your documentation then there is no need for you to supply us with anything.
How do your Virtual Assistants bill for their time?
All of our Virtual Assistants use a time tracking software that keeps a record of the time spent on your tasks to the minute.
Do your virtual assistants answer the phone or work outside normal working hours?
Yes. We work to make your work/life balance more efficient. If you need our virtual assistants outside the time constraints of a normal working day they will answer the phone and help where possible when tasks cannot wait until normal working hours. We are flexible, but where appropriate there maybe a different rate which will be discussed with you beforehand.
Can you guarantee confidentiality?
Yes. All of our clients are guaranteed their work is handled in a confidential and secure manner and will not be disclosed to any other party, directly or indirectly, nor will any information received from a client be used to benefit PS Virtual and our virtual assistants. All clients are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement before any work commences.
